Pathfinder opening route:
what to do before your first Twine
Start with three ideas: observe the environment, choose your capture timing, and use Aniimo abilities to read the map in a new way.
01Finish the movement and interface tutorial
After creating your Pathfinder, follow the tracked objective. If you become stuck in terrain, open the menu and choose Unstuck to return to the nearest valid position.
02Your first capture: do not throw the Aniipod immediately
Watch a wild Aniimo before setting the trap and choosing your timing. Environment, weather, phenomena, and time can change which species or form appears, so record the conditions when you find something unusual.
- Keep a small reserve of Aniipods for quest or weather-limited targets.
- Record server, build, region, weather, and in-game time.
- Never treat a single attempt as a fixed capture rate.
03Twine: treat each Aniimo as a traversal tool
Twine is more than a combat switch. Different Aniimo can fly, glide, dive, burrow, sprint, or reveal hidden details. When a platform, pool, or barrier seems inaccessible, ask which ability the environment expects.
04Build a functional first team
Do not chase a tier list during the opening. Cover one reliable damage role, one Break or control role, and one support role that can protect or restore the team. Keep a frequently used traversal Aniimo available to reduce constant swapping.
